Automotive Systems Technology is preparing students to work at the entry level in a dealership or automotive repair facility. This pathway will take the student from very rudimentary safety practices and tool identification to performing basic service and repair of steering and suspension components, and, diagnosis and repair of various braking systems. Electrical theory, wiring diagrams, circuit testing and troubleshooting of the vehicle’s charging and starting system are also covered in this course.
