This information will be geared towards families of prospective students who are interested in auditioning for/attending NWSA for the 2023-24 school year.
This is not an event for students who have already been accepted at NWSA.
Students who wish to attend NWSA must pass an audition prior to entering the CMS School Options Lottery. Lottery dates for the 2023-24 school year are earlier than ever, which means our auditions will be in full swing very soon! NWSA is an arts magnet school serving 6-12 graders in the CMS school zone. NWSA has the same core curriculum as CMS Schools, but students are able to specialize or “major” in their chosen arts area. A passed audition is required, and students must also enter the CMS School Options lottery.
There will be brief presentations to share information about our academics, arts, and the audition process. Following the presentation there will be a Q and A session.
