Montessori

While Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade present the most optimal entry points for Montessori teaching and learning, the Late Entry Process is available for students above 1st grade and up to 10th grade. This process is best suited for students who are currently registered in a Montessori program outside of CMS, have immediate, prior Montessori classroom experience, or demonstrate an equivalent degree of compatibility to the Montessori approach.

Dual Language/Immersion

Because our dual language/immersion programs are not designed for students who have not had exposure to the target language, students who will be entering 1st grade and higher are required to complete a late-entry assessment. “Late Entry” means that a student is entering a specialized program at a grade other than the normal entry grade of kindergarten.
