Piedmont Middle School, an IB World School, has been named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Schools Program. Piedmont won the award in the “Exemplary High Performing School” category. Piedmont also won the award in 1991 and 2011.
The North Carolina State Board of Education has given Special Recognition to North Carolina’s 2019-2020 National Blue Ribbon Schools, including Piedmont Middle School. Here is a link to the State Board presentation.
