Lydia Fergison, recently named principal of the new North K-8 Language Academy, took a field trip this past week to explore the site of her brand new school, which is slated to open in August 2021.
Fergison was named as the new principal of the North K-8 Language Academy during the CMS Board Meeting on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She has been serving as the principal at Newell Elementary since 2015. Before that, she was the Assistant Principal at Albemarle Road Elementary from 2012 to 2015, an instructor at CPCC from 2012 to 2014, and a Spanish teacher at McClintock Middle School from 2003 to 2012.
